[OPEN LOG] EMERGENCY DRILL

It is 0200 UTC. A loud wailing emergency siren pierces the quiet of the sleeping base, waking you up instantly (or not). In your bleary-eyed state you realize this is the evacuation signal you’ve all been trained to recognise. Time to go!

Notes:
- Only dept heads were told about the drill, but they only knew that it would be held, not when
- The only ones who know the full picture are Byodoin and CDR Ryuuzaki
- Everyone has gone through the safety training and ideally knows to evacuate to the designated outdoor location… right?

Zaizen continued stair climbing with the iguana. Well, there went his boyfriend. "Bye, lover." He deadpanned at poor Marui, continuing up the stairs a little faster so maybe Kintarou wouldn't need to come back for him.

The sheer terror of this experience had Marui holding on white-knuckle tight, so don't worry, he wasn't falling off any time soon. But hey, at least this would make an awesome video.

There was one jump where Kintarou missed his grab of the handrail and they dropped until he caught them by his fingertips on the stairs. "You're HEAVIER THAN KENYA!" was all Kintarou said as he managed to pull them up by his fingertips alone. And then off he went, jumping to the next level for a much cleaner grab.

Zaizen watched Kintarou ascend with his dear boyfriend stuck to his back like a terrified koala. Huh, this was a little nerve wracking. If Bunta didn't fall off and die he'd have to hug him at the top of the stairs.
