I bring you good news! Our expeditions have indeed borne fruit. In addition to Team 1 setting up a spiffy new communications tower, Team 2 has also discovered a sizeable deposit of gold and other ores. As this is a priority resource for our colony, we will be setting up a mining camp there immediately. In honour of the personnel whofell into discovered the deposit and bravely slew the giant crawler nesting on it, we will be naming it Camp Tooyama.
We will be mobilising people from Security, Logistics and Engineering (including demolitions) for the effort, who will be ferried to and from the outpost by our pilots on a rotational basis. After it is fully online, we expect the mining operations to be mostly remote operated, with shifts of people coming to check on it every so often.
Please see your department heads for scheduling. Expect to spend about a week there at a time, after which you will be granted rest days. Construction of the outpost is expected to take at least one month. This does mean that the baths will be on hold for the time being, but I'm sure you all understand.
