[SEMIOPEN LOG] EXPEDITION 2, ALL TEAMS

Semi-open log for the second expedition, Team 1 (Mizuki-Yukimura-Oshitari K) and Team 2 (Marui-Tooyama-Kikumaru-Ibu). 

 

How this works: only characters involved in this event can tag in this log.

Pre-Expedition Events (Opens Aug 6, lasts till Aug 8 or until everyone gets tired of it): Training and Packing. These events will involve only training/supply personnel (e.g. Medical for First Aid, Engineering for equipment, Logistics for requisitions, Tachibana for rations etc) and the personnel going on the mission. 

Expedition: (Opens Aug 9 and lasts till Aug 23, or until everyone gets tired of it): Set up categories/threads as needed, for example :Camping, Digging, More Digging. Other characters can also tag eg if someone makes a comm call, but make sure you ask/inform that person first, and this should not take up significant portions of the log. As always, ask in the Discord if you have any questions.

Tooyama panted over the dead corpse of the giant bug, covered in innards and goo. His shovel had broken, the digging end stuck inside the bug's body and the handle in his cracked gloves.

His ribs hurt from being smashed into a wall, but it hurt more to see his broken shovel. "YES I THINK SO." And just to check, Tooyama rammed the handle of the shovel in the corpse as well, watching it violently spasm.

"You were so awesome!" Eiji told him as he joined Tooyama on the bug and pulling him into a hug of victory, disgusting crawler-goo and everything. "This bug didn't stand a chance!"

He frowned at the broken shovel though. "Hey! Maybe they'll make you a new one! Made of gold!" There was so much gold they could make Tooyama a bazillion shovels.

Tooyama grabbed Eiji around the middle and joined him in the celebratory victory hug. "Like when I fought off the GIANT MOSQUITO!! This was HARDER THOUGH." Less weak points, and he'd had to crack his gloves to smash through the shell.

Oh and that was a thought. "I should GET IT OUT right? 'cause I shouldn't waste things." So he had to pull away from the hug to start climbing on the bug so he could pull out the metal remains with squelching noises.

Ibu was absolutely, positively, overwhelmingly thankful that he had thought ahead and packed his largest storage device and battery. This footage was amazing and would definitely get him the documentary award that he should have received for his film on Tannhauser. It was also serve as excellent promotional material for the UEA. "Congratulations, Tooyama sir. I do hope you and Kikumaru sir are alright, minus your shovel and gloves. Has anyone seen Marui sir? I remember seeing him when he landed, but not since. Could he be under that thing?"
