[SEMIOPEN LOG] EXPEDITION 1 TEAM 2

 Semi-open log for the first expedition, Team 2 (Hiyoshi-Oshitari Y- Uion - Ibu).

How this works: only characters involved in this event can tag in this log. Set up categories/threads as needed, for example :Camping, Digging, More Digging. Other characters can also tag eg if someone makes a comm call, but make sure you ask/inform that person first, and this should not take up significant portions of the log. As always, ask in the Discord if you have any questions.

Niou jerked at the voice suddenly next to him and oh shit he was driving. He yawned and shook his head to try and wake up. "Yeah, I don't think I can drive right now." At least not alertly to swerve or stop if a sandworm suddenly attacked.

"I'll sit next to Hiyoshi again."

Yuushi nodded. "Or you could try finishing that nap your body seems to need," he suggested. He was pretty sure that the man probably never slept, what with the whole double life thing.

"If Ibu is right we might be arriving at the waterside soon... And if nothing looks like it wants to eat us there, we can set up camp."

He was going to protest that he didn't need to nap. Especially after having been woken up, he was actually feeling OK, now that he was sitting down again. But then...

"I'll... try to sleep now, then," Niou said reluctantly. As in, close his eyes and keep an ear on his surroundings. "And I can stay up while you guys get some sleep and keep watch."

"That's best, taking turns will probably keep one of us from driving into a sandworm's open mouth," Yuushi chuckled darkly. He did think they were getting closer to the ocean, though. Maybe the driving would end soon, he was really looking forward to stretching his legs somewhere no one was monologuing.

Niou jostled Hiyoshi a bit as he got comfy - or at least as comfy as he could be when his ass was falling asleep and he wanted to stretch his legs. "Sounds like a plan. Just let me know if you want to switch."

He closed his eyes again and he really had planned on being awake... But it was just too easy to drift off again. Zzzzz.
