mgakuto: (friends)
Who: Gakuto, Jirou, & Shishido
When: August 9th, evening
Where: Jirou’s room
What: Friend-time

Shishido shifted the small bag of snacks he’d brought so he could give a quick knock on the door out of politeness. No answer but that didn’t surprise him. Knowing Jirou, the guy was probably napping. So Shishido attempted to enter the room, testing a theory he had. When the door opened without a problem, Shishido just smiled and shook his head.

“I’m coming in, Jirou,” Shishido said as he walked into the room. And found Jirou exactly where he expected the guy to be - napping on his bed. With a chuckle, Shishido went over to one of the desks in the room and started unpacking the cheeses and crackers he’d brought with him.

Gakuto had grabbed some snacks as well, expecting Shishido to only bring cheese. He also brought some drinks. He knew Jirou had programmed the room for him, so he just let himself in. “Hey, Ryou!” He grinned. “Jirou still napping?” He looked at Jirou, rolling his eyes. “He’s going to be surprised.” Sure enough Shishido was unpacking cheese.

“I brought drinks and sweets, too.” Gakuto said, putting his snacks with Shishido’s.

Nodding his head towards Jirou, Shishido said, "looks like. I can't say I'm surprised." He looked over what Gakuto brought, an approving smile on Shishido's face. "Good call on the drinks. I totally forgot about bringing any."

"Let him sleep or attempt to wake him?" Shishido asked.

“Let him sleep.” Gakuto said, grabbing a drink. “He’ll hear us talking about something interesting and wake up when he wants.” Gakuto grinned. “He’s probably tired from his little prank that he pulled.”

Shishido groaned at being reminded about that. "That made a nightmare mess." Both physically and the whole afterwards with Atobe. "I really hope that Atobe's following my advice about how to deal with people better. I do not want that to happen again."

Gakuto nodded. “Yeah, I heard. I forgot how petty Jirou can be when he’s mad.” He laughed. “He’ll send some money to make up for it, I’m sure.”

"I honestly thought he'd let it go and was fine with just ignoring Atobe," Shishido said, shaking his head. "It's been weeks since that whole staying awake thing happened." Turns out, Jirou had not let it go.

Jirou yawned. "He upset Tezuka, so I thought I'd make Atobe grovel a little to be let out... it got out of hand."

Yup. He was awake now, you guys. Welcome to his room! He sat up and rubbed his eyes.

Gakuto laughed. “Heard us talking shit, huh?” He went and sat with Jirou on his bed. “You did it because he upset Tezuka??”

Jirou nodded his head. "It reminded me about how much I dislike Atobe, so I did something about it."

Shishido grabbed the desk chair and dragged it over to the bed, sitting in it across from the other two. "A little out of hand's an understatement," he pointed out. "But it might have actually inspired Atobe to become a better person. Time will tell on that one."

Gakuto raised an eyebrow. “Atobe’s not the issue. Jirou did this for Tezuka. So their date must have gone super well!”

Jirou blushed at that insinuation, looking thoroughly embarrassed. "I mean, it didn't not go well. We took a spaceship out and zipped around like action heros all afternoon. And we're planning to go on a second date. So that's a good sign, right?"

"That's usually a very good sign," Shishido replied. That really did sound like the perfect sort of date to keep Jirou awake too. "Any idea what your second date might include?"

Gakuto was beaming. “That sounds like a great date! Yeah, what are you gonna do next?!”

Jirou shrugged. "I haven't really thought about it yet. I saw Tezuka the other day and we cuddled, though!"

And by that he meant he slept. Obviously.

Jirou was not himself, Shishido had to remind himself. That was almost certainly a completely innocent use of the word cuddle. "Sounds like you two are getting along really well," Shishido said, glad that it was working out for Jirou. "Have you two kissed yet?"

Gakuto nodded, wanting to know as well. “Yeah, have you kissed?” Cuddling, especially when Jirou was concerned, was very common, so he didn’t find that weird.

Jirou squeaked. "What kind of question is that? I should be asking both of you of you've kissed yet! You're both way more hot and heavy with your dates!!!"

That wasn't exactly a lie. But it also didn't answer the question. "I'm going to take that as a no then," Shishido teased. "You'd be bright red if you had kissed him."

“Really, no kiss?” Gakuto frowned. “Wow, Tezuka is taking it slow!”

Jirou reddened. "I didn't say that there was no kiss. Just... no kiss on the lips. It was a first date!" He wasn't a kiss slut you guys!!!

"So there was a kiss," Shishido chuckled. "And there's no rule about not kissing on a first date. If it's right, then it's right."

Gakuto nodded. “Yeah, but it’s okay if you don’t, either. As long as you had fun.”

Jirou nodded. "Well, what about you guys? I'm assuming based on Shishido's reaction that he did kiss on the first date, huh?"

"Yes," was the very simple answer from Shishido. He wasn't going to deny it. Not when it'd been in public, on camera, and others definitely knew about it. Honestly, it'd be his luck that Hiyoshi would have told Gakuto already too. "You have a date with Hiyoshi yet, Gakuto?"

“Oh, no you don’t.” Gakuto shook his head. “You don’t get to say yes and then just move on!” He jabbed Ryou in the shoulder. “What did you do?”

Jirou perked up, pleased with this revelation. "Yeah! Tell us exactly how it went down, Ryou! We need to know!!!"

Of course they were going to push this. Shishido felt his face get warm. "He kissed me so I kissed him back," Shishido said. There were so many more details that he hadn't mentioned and wouldn't unless pushed more. "It was a nice first date."

Gakuto rolled his eyes. “But what did you do? How was it a nice date?”

Friends were the worst. "We met and talked for a bit. Had some snacks. I mentioned liking him and he kissed me so I kissed him back. Then we started talking about what we'd do on future dates." And oh shit, just remembering how that second date had ended up had his whole face turning red. Even his ears and neck were burning.

Jirou looked utterly innocent. Almost evilly so. "Oh, you turned really red when you mentioned a second date... did it go that well?"

Gakuto smirked. “Sounds like future dates have not only happened, but they were even better.”

Groaning, Shishido rested a hand in front of his face as he tried to take a moment to get this under control. It didn't really work. So instead all he said was, "I hate you both." No malice and anger behind those words. Just sheer embarrassment at getting caught in trying not to tell them more.

Jirou laughed and patted Shishido's back. "I'm glad you had a good time though! You and Ohtori make a really cute couple!!!"

Gakuto faked a gasp. “After only two dates! For shame, Ryou!” He cackled, also patting Shishido’s back.

"Like you haven't slept with someone on a date before," Shishido shot back, giving Gakuto a look. Then he realized what he'd essentially admitted to and groaned again. Attempting to hide his face behind a hand, Shishido was full of regrets at ever wanting to spend time with his friends. "Someone else talk about something else," Shishido begged from behind his hand.

Jirou laughed and laughed before yawning. He was starting to get groggy. "We could always have Gakuto tell us about his date..."

Gakuto glared at Ryou. "Those weren't dates! They were just…hooking up." He looked between his two friends. They probably thought he had just went and jumped into bed with Hiyoshi as soon as he could. "You'll just laugh."

Shishido didn't notice the glare from where he was still hiding behind his hand. "Nope, if I had to talk then you have to too. What did you even do?" Hiyoshi had asked but they hadn't exactly given him helpful ideas.

Gakuto looked away. "We went to the VR room… played some laser tag…" His voice softened at the memory. "Went to the top of Mount Everest…and then his family home."

Jirou seemed suitably impressed by that, draping himself over Gakuto to coo. "Aaaawe, that's cute! Sounds like you two are getting along great!" He yawned. "When's the second date?"

"See what happens when you pick someone nice," Shishido said, only just a little smug after years of yelling at Gakuto to be pickier about people. "You still haven't mentioned if you kissed him yet though." Because screw it, if Jirou and himself had to say it, then so did Gakuto.

"Oh…I don't know." Gakuto said quietly. "He hasn't said anything." He bristled under Ryou's smugness. "You don't have to be picky if you're just looking for sex." He sighed. "We kissed before we even went on a date. That was my fault."

Jirou grinned. "You'll have another date. You two are toooootally into each other. It's adorable!" He was so happy that Gakuto seemed to have found someone he actually liked for once. His friends deserved the world.

"Throw him for a loop and ask him out," Shishido said, finally moving his hand away from his face. "He was kind of clueless and was trying to ask us for advice on what to do with you. But nothing says you can't ask him out for the next one."

It was Gakuto’s turn to be embarrassed. "He what?!" Oh god. "So which one of you came up with the VR date?" He was still a little shy about taking initiative because this was pretty new for him.

Jirou happily raised his hand. "That was me! It seemed like a fun idea!" He was glad it seemed to go over well with Gakuto and Hiyoshi. "All Ryou was saying was 'do literally anything' and that really isn't very helpful when you're looking for ideas."

"You say that like it was something wrong to say," Shishido argued. "I was more focused on Hiyoshi not freaking out or dropping Gakuto if there was some sort of misunderstanding between them." He didn't want to see his friend get hurt, plain and simple.

Gakuto wrapped his arms around Jirou. "Well, it was a great idea." He looked at Ryou, sighing. "He's still allowed to dump me if he wants, and you guys can't be mean to him about it…" But then he remembered Hiyoshi’s family home. "I hope he doesn't, though."

"I hope he doesn't either. You clearly are head over heels for him!" Jirou laughed hugging Gakuto back. "Seeing you all blushy and happy is a good thing! I'm glad Hiyoshi asked you out!"

Shishido nodded. "This is a nice change," he said, agreeing with Jirou completely. "And yeah, sure, he can always say he doesn't want to see you. I just wanted him to be aware that he should have patience with you. That this whole actually dating someone is new."

Gakuto smiled, nodding. He didn’t want to get all teary-eyed because that was stupid. “Thanks…I appreciate you guys looking out for me.”

"You're our best friend! Looking out for you is a given!" Jirou yawned and snuggled up to Gakuto like a sleepy cat.

"Be honest. You know you'd do the same if positions were ever swapped and it was one of us in your shoes," Shishido pointed out. "And that you haven't already vetted your roommate as someone who'd be good for Jirou."

Gakuto laughed. “I don’t feel like I vetted Ohtori enough, if he’s already taking you to bed!” Gakuto grinned. Oh,yes, he knew what all that blushiness was about. “It’s those quiet ones…”

Jirou yawned, actively dozing off on Gakuto.

"It really is," Shishido agreed, shaking his head. He still couldn't believe just how many people Choutarou had slept with in the short time they'd been on base. "He's not as soft and innocent as he looks, that's for sure."

Gakuto shifted to put Jirou’s head in his lap, petting his hair. “Oh? You picked someone who has a lot of experience?” Gakuto asked. “...He’s not a player, is he?”

Shishido thought about it for a moment, debating just how much he should tell these two. They were his oldest, and closest, friends. They knew more about him than almost anyone else. "This doesn't leave this room," he finally decided. "I don't really think he's a player. He was too honest with me, if that makes sense. But he did let me know I'm not the first he's been with here."

Gakuto frowned, nodding. “...Kinda like how I was back home?” He asked.

"I didn't ask for details." Shishido had been a little too caught up in the moment, too caught up in not wanting Choutarou to run away. Now that a couple of days had passed between then and now, Shishido wasn't sure it was something he wanted to know about. That didn't feel like a good path to head down, especially not right now. "And I don't know if I want to know more about it."

“You can’t be upset about it!” Gakuto insisted. “...If..if you really like him…if you really want to be with him…You…you have to accept it and not be mad…” This was actually something Gakuto worried about. “...Because he likes you now. And I don’t think he would cheat on you.”

Shishido nodded, agreeing with Gakuto completely. "I know. And it's not like I've never done anything with others either," he agreed. "But it's one of those things where I think that the less I know specifics, the better off I'll be. So, fine to know that there's some others out there but I don't need to know who those others are."

Then Shishido gave a little laugh as he added, "Choutarou did make it very clear that those people weren't either of you or Hiyoshi."

Gakuto blushed. “I could have told you that!” He sputtered. “...Hiyoshi may go around kissing people, but I don’t think he goes around having sex with them.” Hiyoshi seemed very shy about stuff like that.

"Hiyoshi does seem like a good kid." Shishido hadn't had much contact with the guy but there hadn't been any obvious red flags. "Are you at a point where you might have a similar conversation with him?" Shishido kind of hoped Gakuto and Hiyoshi weren't there. It'd do Gakuto good to take things slower, to actually have a relationship.

Gakuto smiled softly but shook his head. “No. I don’t want to have sex with him yet. I like what we have right now.” He played with Jirou’s hair. “...We have a lot of time.”

"There is plenty of time," Shishido agreed. Like he could talk. "Take things at the speed that seems right." Then he focused on Jirou for a moment and added, "you too, Jirou. Don't go rushing into anything if you don't feel ready for it."

Jirou yawned and gave a sleepy thumbs up. "I'm sooooo ready to not be a virgin though."

Gakuto sputtered. "No, you need to treasure it. Let your first time be special!" God, why did he have to tell Jirou this?

Jirou snorted. "It will be special because it's my first time. I can treasure it just fine, Gakuto!"

Shishido shook his head. "If you need anything, come see me? Because if you're going to do anything, at least do it safely." It wasn't like they'd be able to stop Jirou anyways.

“...I wouldn’t call my first time special.” Gakuto admitted. “Even if it was just because it was my first time.” He nodded at Ryou’s statement. “Yeah, just be safe.”

Jirou yawned and resumed his nap, overprotective friends be damned.

"What are the chances that he doesn't listen to us?" Shishido asked, looking at where Jirou was napping. "That despite our best efforts to actually be supportive and not overprotective, he's going to try and do something stupid?"

Gakuto shook his head. “Jirou’s smart. He’ll be safe.” Gakuto said fondly. “We have to remember we aren’t little kids anymore. And Jirou is the smartest out of the three of us.” Besides, Gakuto knew Jirou had “supplies” hidden in his room.

It was hard to break out of the protective role when it came to his friends. After all, that was how Shishido had met them in the first place. "You're right," he said. "And it's not like I can really talk." Of the three of them, he was the one making arguably the most questionable decisions lately.

Gakuto laughed softly. "It's not really like you to jump headfirst like this. Ohtori must be real special."

Shishido hung his head, looking down at his hands. "Tell me about it. Something about him does seem special and that's the only thing that has me convinced that I haven't lost my mind."

“He is very nice.” Gakuto said. “Don’t beat yourself up so much.” He reached over and patted Ryou’s leg. “Let yourself be happy.”

"I'm trying to follow that thought," Shishido replied. "It hasn't led to the wisest decisions but it has been interesting. And the same goes for you, by the way. Let yourself be happy."

Gakuto went back to playing with Jirou’s hair, wrapping curls around his finger. “...Happiness is a little scary.” He admitted. “...I’m scared of losing it.”

"It is," Shishido agreed. "It's scary to take the first step and it's scary to know you could lose it. But that means you have to actually figure out what makes things work." Without losing who you are in the process. Shishido left that last thought off. No need to even suggest that. "If things are working for both of you as they are now, then keep going with what works. And talking things out helps keep you both on the same page so you understand better."

“We are both bad at talking.” Gakuto groaned. “But…I’ll do my best.” He smiled. “Because I really like Hiyoshi.” He was blushing, but he didn’t care. “He’s just…fun. He’s so much fun.” Gakuto was doing his best to think positively. Meditating and kobujutsu helped.

"More like go through the important things - the stuff that matters to you and to him," Shishido explained. "But the fact that you're having fun right now is a good sign. Generally the easier it is and the more fun you're having, the better things are going. It's when you're fighting to figure out a reason to stay together that you really need to rethink things."’

Gakuto got nervous, thinking about that. “Yeah, there are probably some things we should talk about…” And hopefully, if Gakuto was in too deep, they would be able to work things out if they fought. “...Is that what happened with that one guy…?”

Shishido chuckled. "You mean the guy I dated who kept trying to convince me to drop the two of you?" He nodded. "Yeah, it was a constant struggle. We'd try to figure out something but it was more like we were fighting to figure out reasons to stay together instead of wanting to be around each other." A goofy smile crept across his face as he added, "but so far with Choutarou? It's like everything and everyone else just kind of disappears. Like time's stopped and it's just us."

“That guy wanted you to get rid of us??” Gakuto gasped. “But Chouta-chan doesn’t want that, right?” He seemed nice the few times Gakuto talked to him. “...That sounds really nice, though. I’m really glad for you, Ryou. You totally deserve a great romance!” He grinned.

"Yeah." Shishido nodded. "It was one of those continued fights between us. He thought you two were going to drag me down." Then his smile grew more as he focused on more current matters. "Choutarou likes the two of you. He thinks it's awesome we've been friends for so long."

Gakuto smiled softly. “Jirou and I are really lucky to have you, you know that right? You’re a worrywart sometimes, but we know it’s because you care.” Gakuto knew he wouldn’t be where he was without Ryou. “I really do think Chouta-chan is perfect for you. You look good together!”

Gakuto was saying that like it hadn't been him and Jirou who had adopted Shishido all those years ago. Those two could have easily said thanks and bye and still had each other. "I have no complaints about him so far," Shishido agreed. "Well, other than him being too tall but there are ways of fixing that."

Gakuto cackled. “Welcome to my world!” It was rough being shorter than everyone else. “I like that Hiyoshi is taller than me, but not gigantic.” Perfect for cuddling! “He did mention you interrogated him…”

Shishido waved a hand as if trying to blow the idea away. "It was back when he first returned from his mission. I just asked him a few questions about if he was screwing around with you or if he was actually serious about wanting to be your friend."

“That’s interrogation.” Gakuto laughed. “...It’s okay, I just interrogated Ohtori, too.” He beamed. “But my interrogation was a vibe check.”

Shishido's eyes rested on Jirou for a moment before his smile turned mischievous. "Clearly this means we need to have a talk with Tezuka at some point. If nothing else so that we're not leaving Jirou and him out of anything."

"I mean, I've been doing a constant vibe check with him, but you haven't yet…and both of you questioned Hiyoshi, so…" Gakuto grinned. "You should…"

"Oh, true, he's your roommate," Shishido remembered. "But yeah, maybe I should speak to him at some point. If just to keep things fair."

"Fair warning…he's odd. Like, not bad odd. Just odd." Gakuto informed. "And he gets offended super easily, so maybe be gentle?" Having been on the receiving end of one of Tezuka's offended moments, he had some experience in trying to keep the peace.

"Good to know," Shishido said, clearly grateful for the advice. "I'm not sure I've ever spoken to him or if I did, it was a brief journal conversation. I've just been trusting your judgement on him." Because Gakuto would never let anyone awful near Jirou.

Gakuto nodded. "If I thought Tezuka was a jerk, he would be miserable right now." And possibly covered in glitter. "I don't think he’s a bad first boyfriend for Jirou."

"One date doesn't necessarily mean he's Jirou's boyfriend now." Though from what Jirou said, it sounded like it could be heading in that direction. "But there are definitely worse people that Jirou could have picked."

Gakuto nodded. And then he looked super worried. "Oh, no, this is terrible. How do we decide who our best men are going to be?!"

Shishido laughed. "I'm pretty sure it's way too early to even start thinking about that." But once he'd stopped laughing, he thought about it for a moment. "You should pick Jirou when you reach that day. He's been with you longer."

Gakuto reached over Jirou to pinch Ryou’s cheeks. "We've told you, that doesn't matter to us! Stop thinking you're less of a friend just because we met later!" He let go and pouted. "I'll just have two."

"Two also works. But I still think Jirou's a better choice than me," Shishido said. "He doesn't make you look quite as small." Not that Shishido was a giant or anything himself. However he also knew that his friends made him look taller and he tended to make them look smaller in photographs.

"Despite what you might think, I like being small, for the most part." Gakuto said. "What matters more is my two best friends being with me when I need them most."

"Fair enough." A thought popped into Shishido's head and he chuckled. "Even if you did just pick one of us, we'd end up doing everything as a group together. But it's probably going to be awhile before any of us are at that point anyways," he repeated.

"I know." Gakuto said, moving to get more comfortable. "But just so you know…it kinda hurts when you make yourself less just because we didn't know you when we were infants."

It was hard to answer that. Shishido had been assured that many times over the years but that still didn't change history. "I know that. You guys have both said stuff like that to me but..." he didn't know how to put the feelings into words.

"We chose you, Ryou." Gakuto said softly. "We didn't really choose each other. That just happened. But we chose you."

Seeing sappy Gakuto was weird. Shishido shifted, not entirely comfortable with his friend acting so like this. "Who are you and what have you done with the normal Gakuto?" Shishido tried to joke.

"Normal Gakuto thinks you're a dumbass for ever doubting us." Gakuto rolled his eyes. "Stop invalidating me, jerkface. I'm allowed to have feelings."

"Sorry," Shishido answered. "I didn't mean it that way." And he didn't know what to say. Not helping things was the fact that things had been rocky between him and Gakuto up until recently. It was nice to not constantly fight each other and Shishido didn't want to be the one to start that up again.

Gakuto sighed and reached for Ryou’s hand. "...Being able to talk about my feelings is because I'm getting the help I need, Ryou. You'll get used to it. Just know that this Gakuto has always been here…he was just too scared to come out."

"I'm glad," Shishido said, letting Gakuto take his hand. "That you're getting help and that you're feeling comfortable enough to finally show this side." It'd only taken almost 20 years for them to reach this point but who was keeping track?

"Don't think I still won't rail into you when you're being a dumbass, though." Gakuto grinned. "Someone has to keep you humble." Truth be told, Gakuto adored Ryou. Ryou’s was a friendship he couldn't live without.

Shishido just looked at Gakuto. "Please do. I need someone to make sure I haven't completely dove off the deep-end. You and Jirou both need to keep me doing anything too stupid." Because he was honestly making plenty of less than well-thought decisions.

"As long as you aren't about to propose to Ohtori, I'm sure you're fine…" Gakuto narrowed his eyes at Shishido. "You're not…right?"

Shishido burst out laughing. "No, definitely not doing that for a long time," he reassured Gakuto. "I might have lost my head a little bit but I'm not quite that far gone."

Gakuto let out a laugh laced with relief. "Okay, then! Good!" He sighed and moved to snuggle Jirou. "If you are worried about something, just tell me and I'll tell you if you're being dumb."

"Am I being dumb now?" Shishido asked, seriously asking. He honestly couldn't tell if he was thinking things through, making smart decisions. Some of them seemed right but at other times, it felt like he was not thinking at all.

Gakuto shook his head. "With Ohtori? Nah. Sometimes, you just click with a person. It's okay to get wrapped up in something like this. Sometimes, you just have to do what feels right…even if it doesn't sound right."

"Tell me if I get too wrapped up in things." Then with even more emphasis in his voice, Shishido added, "immediately." He wasn't sure he fully trusted himself to always think about things in a logical manner. Not when it came to Choutarou at least.

"Okay, if you start talking marriage, I'll hit you over the head." Gakuto promised.

"Yeah, at least for the next year or two, please hit me if I go that far," Shishido said. "Not the head though. Too many ways to get seriously injured there even with a soft hit."

Gakuto nodded. "Alright, only the head if what you're about to do is so stupid you're a lost cause." He grinned.

Shishido nodded. "Sounds like a plan to me," he agreed. "Should I do the same for you? Or do you want us to let you make mistakes?"

Gakuto thought about it for a moment. “...If I start self-sabotaging.” He said quietly, almost embarrassed with himself. “I think that’s the biggest thing I need to be watched for.”

Jirou gave Gakuto a thumbs up, but didn’t seem to wake up.

Shishido laughed at the thumbs up. "Is he actually awake?" He asked, nodding towards Jirou. "Or is he doing things in his sleep again?"

Gakuto shrugged. “Who knows? If he is really asleep, we can do his hair.”

"Sounds good to me," Shishido said, standing up. "Think there's anything in here we can use?" He had some hairties in his own room (the things seemed to magically spawn around him even though his hair was much shorter now) but if there was already something in Jirou's room…

“I have a few hairties in my pocket, but I need more.” Gakuto’s own hair was quickly growing past his shoulders. “Maybe his roommate has some ribbon or something.”

Shishido glanced over to what was clearly Jirou's roommate's part of the room. "Yeah," he drew out the word. "I'm not touching his stuff." Mostly because Shishido had a funny feeling that Jirou's roommate would know and throw a fit.

Gakuto laughed. “Yeah, that would be rude. Ah, well. We’ll come prepared next time.”

"Next time," Shishido agreed. Because there would be a next time. Hopefully many next times.

Gakuto smiled. “Should we follow Jirou’s example and get to sleep?”

"That'd be the responsible thing to do, going to sleep at a reasonable hour." Shishido looked between his friends on Jirou's bed and the other bed in the room. "Crashing here or heading back to your own room?"

“I’m crashing here.” Gakuto said, comfy where he was. “We could probably squeeze you in if you wanted to stay!”

Shishido gave Gakuto a look that clearly said what Shishido thought of that idea. "No thanks," he said. "That sounds like it'd be too uncomfortable." Not enough bed and entirely too many limbs for Shishido. He took a few steps towards the door before adding in a soft voice, "we need to do this more often."

Gakuto sat up for a moment. “Every other Tuesday.” He insisted. “Sound good?”

"Sounds good," Shishido agreed. "Barring things like weird work schedules and missions, that should be fine."

Gakuto nodded. “And we have to reschedule that same week if they do.” He said. “...Because this was fun. It’s always fun.”

"Yeah, I like that idea." Shishido gave a little wave before slipping out the door, fighting back a yawn as he headed back to his own room where he could get a proper night's sleep. They'd have to figure out roommates but that was a thought for another time.
