"With a head injury, he should not walk," he told Byodoin. "Can we carry him? Preferably on the stretcher so that he remains flat."
He looked upwards at the light glittering far over head. "A slow lift by rope would keep him most stable."
Atobe was fully aware that the team he was with would likely prefer to throw Marui back over their shoulder and scale the wall by hand. But as head of the medical unit, he did feel at least obliged to offer the sane suggestion.
