As resources on the home planet dwindled, Earth turned its sights skywards. Thanks to the efforts of the United Earth Alliance (UEA), humanity eventually achieved space travel and colonized Mars. Why stop there? With the advent of interstellar space flight and the imminent fracturing of the Alliance into various factions, it’s become an all-out race to find and colonize new habitable planets outside of the Solar System. As part of the Konomi initiative, you were assigned to a strategically-located planet, Izanagi, in the Takamagahara system, in the hopes of establishing a foothold in that corner of the galaxy. Perhaps you’re just very enthusiastic about frontier space, or you’ve been demoted or exiled— either way, failure is not an option.
