[MONTHLY BULLETIN] Update 6
Greetings, residents of Yomi!
Today, I bring you your monthly bulletin on recent events both here and around UEA-settled space.
Firstly, a summary of events here in Yomi:
The baths are officially almost complete! The plumbing is currently being checked, and they will be open for use on the 25th of December. Merry Christmas!
The outcome of the emergency drill, was in general, acceptable, though I see some of you need to refresh yourselves on the relevant SOPs. Please, make sure you are up to date! Check the reports sent to you by Lt. Commander Byodoin for more details.
Two expedition teams are currently exploring the coastline of the Belt Ocean. If all goes well, we should have a few potential sites to set up outposts.
General announcements:
The scheduled monthly communications are in. Please check your communicators for any messages you may have received. Note that there is a special holiday message from our UEA president, so make sure to have a listen.
Dr. Inui Sadaharu has expressed concern on the general chemical and biological safety knowledge of Security personnel and requested to give a series of lectures to amend this. I have approved his request and extended this training to all UEA staff. Please sign up for CBS Training modules A and B on the Yomi app.
The deadline for sending your monthly allotment of communications to UEA space is Dec 30, UTC 1200.
A Christmas/New Year’s party will be held in the rec room area on the 25th of December, lasting all day to cover everyone on shifts. All nonessential staff will be given leave, while those on essential duties will be given an off day in lieu.
Awards and Punishments:
This month, there are two employees of the month! Thank you to Mr. Marui Bunta and Mr. Ohtori Choutarou for organizing the weekly hot meals. You may collect 50g of table salt each from the Command office. EDIT: Mr. Ohtori has corrected me. Dr. Tachibana is the one who has been helping with this weekly event. Therefore the award will go to Dr. Tachibana. Mr. Ohtori, you help out too.
In the spirit of the holiday season, no punishments this month.
Scientific updates:
Our expedition teams have discovered a handful of new lifeforms. One appears to be a rock mimic with tentacles [image.jpg]. Another organism seems to have been responsible for creating large mud nests on the coast [pic.jpg], although the actual creature has yet to be sighted. Future studies are planned.
News from UEA HQ, Earth and other colonies
Earth and all UEA colonies are gearing up to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. Please see the UEA circular for pictures of some holiday light-ups in various Earth and Mars cities.
The UEA has issued a warning for poaching activities on the fringes of UEA space. Sightings of unfamiliar spacecraft should be reported to the regional UEA command immediately.
And finally, here are the monthly directives:
We will continue to explore along the Belt Ocean coast.
Meteorological observations of the weather phenomena along the coast will be a new priority.
Do your best for humanity!

And I hope everyone is excited about the baths.

If I had problems with my mental-well being, I would visit Dr. Yagyuu.

As for Dr. Yagyuu, the man isn't in charge of day-to-day well-being.
Just because you personally don't like someone doesn't make them useless, Sanada-san. We're all human, at the end of the day, and deserve dignity.

Perhaps Dr.Yagyuu isn't concerned with day-to-day happiness but general well-being would fall under his expertise.
I don't know him enough to dislike him personally. I just dislike people who think they are better at something than they are.

True, but one man cannot take care of all of us.
I've...never seen Ohtori do that?
