[MONTHLY BULLETIN] Update 11
Today, I bring you your monthly bulletin on recent events both here and around UEA-settled space.
Firstly, a summary of events here in Yomi:
The Belt Ocean outpost is now complete. Good work, everyone.
The inspector is unfortunately indisposed and will be medically evacuated.
Able Spaceman Tooyama and Mr. Ohtori apprehended some poachers out in the desert. They will also be medically evacuated.
General announcements:
The scheduled monthly communications are in. Please check your communicators for any messages you may have received.
Congrats, the inspector was generally satisfied with the colony’s progress.
Unfortunately he came to serious bodily harm while on the planet so expect many, many safety evaluations.
The deadline for sending your monthly allotment of communications to UEA space is Jun 30, UTC 1200.
Expeditions will resume next month.
Awards and Punishments:
The employees of the month are: Able Spaceman Tooyama and Mr. Ohtori Choutarou, for bravely apprehending would-be poachers. Please collect one (1) packet of salted scuttlers each from my office.
Scientific updates:
Patents. So. Many. Patents. Check the UEA circular for more details.
News from UEA HQ, Earth and other colonies
Wildfires and heat waves have started up on multiple continents on the northern hemisphere of Earth.
Exploration of galaxies further out in the universe remains a priority. Izanagi may be developed into a major supply point for onward space travel.
And finally, here are the monthly directives (unchanged from last month’s):
Just relax for a bit and celebrate our one full year of survival! (and a moment of silence for those who have lost their lives)
Do your best for humanity!
